What happens during the glitch is that one or more of the players change their respawn point from where it should be in the game. When this happens, that player is unable to properly complete their role in a puzzle, and the Game Master is unable to manually fix their position.
The glitch may occur by its own accord at times, but it is also triggered by players accidentally/intentionally going off the edge and need to be respawned/teleported back. We have advised customers not to intentionally jump off an edge to minimise the possibility of this occurring, however, it still does happen by itself at times.
The other thing I have noticed that can sometimes trigger this glitch is when I manually skip a puzzle for a customer. If I skip just a single puzzle, it is highly unlikely to occur. But if I skip multiple points in the puzzle, it is more likely to occur.
When the glitch occurs, the only way to fix the issue is to restart the game via the Operator Launcher. After this restart I then need to manually skip players forward to the place they once were before the restart. This in itself runs the risk of causing the glitch once more.
Is any one else experiencing the same issue? How do you fix it or manage this?
@Ubisoft team- If there is anything you can do, or advice you can provide we would appreciate it greatly.
Thank you – we are looking into this. If you can somehow figure out an exact point where you can reproduce the issue when a player falls off the edge, it would be great if you could send us a video of it. We really need a clear reproduction of this bug to fix it.
Many thanks in advance,
